Abstract
|
The objective behind the development of this framework is to allow a novice user to create digital designs of varying complexity. Such designs can then be produced onto a textile article by an appropriate technique, for instance, by using ¡®jacquard mechanism¡¯ in weaving or preferably by printing technique. The examples of textile articles on which a required design can be produced include a simple shirt, curtains, dresses, bed sheets, etc. The proposed framework provides user-friendly interface that simplifies pattern creation for inexperienced textile designers and provides an easy method for experienced pattern designers to turn their ideas into reality.
