Abstract

Wireless sensor networks are receiving very much attention in last few years especially in network performance and network lifetime. Mainly the network lifetime increases by the power adaptation. By controlling the transmission power WSNs batteries lifetime is increased. Both Power adaptation and bit rate adaptation maintain the better network performance and this both leads the adaptive topology control (ATC). In this paper adaptive topology control is implemented with different routing protocols such as flooding, wise route, probabilistic broadcast, adaptive probabilistic broadcast by controlling the power in physical layer to get better network performance like throughput and a dynamically power and bit rate control implemented by using its neighbor node activities to get better network performance more than conventional WSN network.
