Abstract

The proper introduction and selection of contractors in construction projects is considered as an essential tool for preventing the loss of national resources. Existing mechanisms for choosing contractors, which are invited by companies with the required records and technical specifications creates many problems for organizations, and then only on the basis of bid prices in bidding. The purpose of this study is to evaluate and rank the factors affecting the selection of contractors for urban train using multi-criteria decision-making techniques. The research uses a combination of two AHP group techniques and fuzzy integral for ranking. In this method, AHP was used for initial weighting of the criteria, descriptive structural modeling was used to express the relation between the sub-criteria and the fuzzy integral to express the performance of the sub-criteria. The results of this method, compared to the usual AHP, indicate changes in the middle classes, and the best and worst companies have not been significantly influenced by the relationship between the criteria. It also explains the impact of changes in related criteria on each other and on the overall performance of each company. The results of this research provide very valuable information to companies about how to improve performance in each sub-criterion.
