Abstract |
The World Wide Web has had an impact on nearly every aspect of society including commerce, science, politics and government, personal relationships, and health. In only one short decade it has evolved to become a global information space for almost every kind of information. As such, it presents an exciting object of study. This paper will describe the goals and architecture of WebFountain Project, some of the problems addressed by WebFountain and elements built in WebFountain to address them. It also focuses on the broad research areas that are involved Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery from Web. |
