        | Abstract | In this paper, performance of a device-to-device (D2D) communication system in an interference limited scenario is analyzed. Channel for the D2D communication is assumed to be ¥ç-¥ì distributed. Co-channel interference (CCI) in the system is caused by the devices that have lost proper co-ordination with the D2D system. Nakagami distribution is considered for the CCI signals. Expression for probability density function (PDF) of signal-to-interference (SIR) of the D2D system is presented. Using this PDF expression, outage probability and success probability performances under various conditions of channel fading, path-loss and interference with selection combining (SC) diversity scheme are numerically analyzed. |
