Abstract

The current research aims to investigate the importance and effectiveness of the Blackboard system. The essence of this research entails revealing the trends of the faculty members towards using it as an e-learning management system and to identify the main obstacles that limit their use of the e-learning management system. In the process of utilizing some of the modern e-learning mechanisms, it is important for the providers of this platform to ensure that they have had the ability to understand the manner in which they enhance the development and academic excellence of the modern young generation (Carlton, 2015). During this research, the questionnaire was the main tool that was used to collect the necessary data. The sample of the study was obtained from the faculty members at Northern Border University in the academic year 2018/2019. This exercise had to consider the different levels of science and their different disciplines, gender, and the work of inquiries about the activation of educational characteristics.
