Abstract |
Microsoft Excel in conjunction with Simio’s Risk-based Planning and Scheduling (RPS) algorithm can be used to create a user friendly scheduling tool. By coding a data-collecting toolkit using Visual Basic (VBA), any company or organization can easily maintain records of all entities going through their system. This software then uses the collected information as inputs for a Simio model of the system and returns the approximate order waiting time. |
