Abstract

Audio Steganography is a technique used to transmit hidden information by modifying an audio signal in an imperceptible manner. The secret message is embedded by slightly altering the binary sequence of a sound file. Substitution techniques are widely used for embedding secret messages. Most commonly used substitution technique in audio steganography is LSB Substitution. In the proposed system , message bits are embedded into vague and higher bit layers so that attacker will not be able to find message bits hidden in stego audio, then using genetic algorithm sample bits are modified in such way that signal distortion become less.
