Abstract

This paper discusses real time visualisation of free surface flows that are modelled using an Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian (ALE) approach. To integrate the dynamic simulation with the visualization, a comprehensive yet extensible Graphical User Interface (GUI) is used. The visualization technique employed is demonstrated on a free surface flow problem of sloshing waves in a tank. The ALE approach is also presented briefly for completeness.
