Abstract
|
Propose: Preliminary study for implementing electronic health services in Iran as a developing country, presented in pervious paper from the authors led us to design a blueprint including feasibility study, priority study and infrastructure design. Methods and Results: Feasibility of proposed electronic health services in pervious paper obtained from determining enhancing and restricting parameters and Iranian information technology professionals¡¯ opinions about importance and effect of these parameters in implementing each service. Priority study prepared a prioritized list of feasible services by two criteria (¡°strong-weak point¡± and ¡°opportunity¡±) decision making model. In priority study, we used analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method and Expert Choice, as its tool, to prioritize feasible services. Infrastructure design presented some guidelines for implementing feasible services, regarding functional requirements of a distributed system such as electronic health system. In this step we designed multiplied sides infrastructure for electronic health system, consisted of services (repository of feasible services) and layers (designed according to OSI network model). Conclusion: In preliminary study and blueprint design we presented an adapted strategic plan for implementing electronic health services in developing country such as Iran, regarding their requirements and limits obtained from surveys on their workers, clients and IT professionals¡¯ opinions.
