Abstract
|
Based on the electromagnetism-like mechanism, a novel genetic algorithm, full-informed electromagnetism mechanism nonlinear genetic algorithm (FIEMNGA), is proposed to solve global numerical optimization problems with continuous variables. In FIEMNGA, full information of individuals of population is used to provide a position displacement, and a displacement threshold is designed to balance the exploitation and exploration capability. Simulation results indicate the FIEMNGA performs much better than the real-coded genetic algorithm with center of mass crossover operator in the quality of solution.
